Family time

There are many hikes in South Tyrol that are fun for the whole family. There is a family hiking trail on the Corno del Renon, which is suitable for the whole family and offers the children opportunities to play along the way. Or combine a short walk along the Freud Promenade with traditional Renon archery, which is offered every Friday. More information can be found here. If you prefer hike to the Renon earth pyramids with someone else, there is a trekking tour with lamas and alpacas at the Kaserhof. More information can be found here.

There is also an adventure park in Caldaro for those with a head for heights.

The irrigation channels around Merano are also particularly suitable for hikes with children, as they hardly have any inclines or declines. In Bolzano, the Oswald Promenade is very easy to manage with a stroller. A tip for animal lovers is the Rainguthof animal world near Lana. A paradise for young and old! A museum suitable for children is the World of Railways in Rablà. The more than 1,000 m2 exhibition is just right for a rainy day with our little guests.

The Val Sarentino nature adventure trail is just right for children who are interested in water and like to experiment! A trip to Lake Monticolo is also highly recommended for families with children.
